Washu Awards, previously named Hong Kong Washu Awards, is opening a new page in 2024, working with partners from around Asia and we continue to aim to promote Japanese Wine and Japanese Sake to professionals and end consumers, but with a broader vision. For the Japanese Wine category, Washu Awards has partnered up with Cru-X Co. Ltd since 2023, operator of one of the most popular Japanese Wine information site (http://www.nihonwine.jp 日本ワイン.JP), assisting Japanese Wineries direct entry and logistic arrangement.
In 2024, WASHU AWARDS is delighted to announce a new partnership with HKTDC, and will be hosting the judging session at HKTDC : International Wine & Spirits Fair 2024 (5-7 September 2024), and together with our judge panel from around Asia, hosting discussion panels touching on topics such as the judging experience at WASHU AWARDS as well as the overall wine market trend in Asia.

HOW TO ENTER & ENTRY DETAILS
EACH Applicant should complete an Entry Form for admission to provide basic information about the Entry Item.
For obtaining the Entry Form, please complete the below Application Form (Google Form) and we will be in touch with you the Item Entry Form (Excel).
You will be required to provide the below information for the Application.
– Item Name
– Vintage
– Varietal (Rice / Grape with percentage if possible)
– Origin
– Alcohol %
– Availability in Hong Kong (Y/N)
– Price Reference (HKD / JPY)
– Total Production (Bottles)
– Tasting Note
– Bottle Shot
– Pairing Suggestions (if available)
Entry Fee:
1 – 5 items: USD $150 / JPY ￥18000 (tax excluded)
6 + items: USD $120 / JPY ￥15000 (tax excluded)
4 bottles of EACH Entry Item (720ml or 750ml format) is required for Judging Purpose.
For any smaller formats, 8 bottles is required for Judging Purpose.
ALL bottles are being judged by BLIND TASTING, and Results will only be shown and shared after all Markings are completed.
